As a part of ArtsinBushwick Beta Spaces NUDEwithaGOOSE will be presenting Digital Chiarascuro:

Digital Chiaroscuro will explore the continued relevancy of the interplay between light and shadow by conflating contemporary digital art with contemporary classical figurative drawings. By simultaneously showing two mediums with such strong variants, new light can be shed on their similarities thus allowing the work to play off each other creating an immersive exhibit.

How to Curate Anywhere (EN PLEIN AIR)

We have joined up with School of the Future http://schoolofthefuture.org/ and are teaching a class TOMORROW Saturday July 24, 2010.

Come be a part of our interactive class on curating and well, CURATE!
We will demonstrate how to curate an art exhibit anywhere, focusing on the fact that parameters can be blessings in disguise. Join us to imagine and plan that art show you have been dying to install in a museum, a gallery or even your own bathroom by discussing ideas for finding venues, artists and visitors.

Supplies Needed: You and your aesthetic genius! Feel free to bring artwork, art is always a plus. As a class we will be curating the artwork created in the Elazar Hoch's Illustration from the Inside class.

IN ADDITION!!!!!!! We will be presenting our 3rd Exhibition: EN PLEIN AIR featuring the work of Salome Asega and Julie Torres.

The bell rings at 2pm, don't be tardy :)

So it has finally come, another exhibition curated by NUDEwithaGOOSE!!!!!

THE SPACE:
We have been given the opportunity to curate a show for Essential which is a 12 year old party/event organization, http://www.lessparty.com/essential/ which is having an event on May 8th in a 3000 sqft loft. Beyond our exhibition the event will involve DJs, Bands, Body Painting, and assorted fashion vendors (including sex toys).

WHAT WE WANT:
We are looking to have about 80 visual artists. The work needs to be around 20 x 24 inches or smaller and needs to be 2D (read:hangable).

THE REASON:
The theme for this event is Exposure (in all its various incarnations), that being said the bolder the piece the more likely it will be seen.

WHAT TO SUBMIT:
If your interested, please send us specific example of your work you would like us to consider for this event, including dimension and medium to nudewithagoose@gmail.com. Please also limit yourself to no more than three images of your work.
